With the wind, if it's a coldish wind . That will keep your woods roads froze down if you got them in during your cold temps.

8-15” snow forecast for Sunday so I hope they are wrong. At least there’s not enough drivers for salt and plow trucks. What could go wrong?

Another mild night at 32 degrees here. A couple solitary splits of apple going in the firebox.

30F here, quite mild yet, supposed to go down to 18. Low 20's & some sun tomorrow, perfect for making firewood! Oak in the boiler, shop stove is idle for now.

Was very nice out today, high 20s. Calling for a low of 6 tonight.

Didn't fill the OWB this morning, this is what was still on there after a 25 hour burn.

Refilled for the night, red oak.

Really liking the 24" splits of red oak, sadly the cord I had of it is almost gone.

    +15°F ambient temperature outside.
    Winds SE @ 20 to 35 mph.
Dry white Spruce, green aspen and seasoned but not dry birch in the stove. Closed up almost enough to put the fire out.

Did not get cold as predicted overnight but it appears the leading edge of the colder is within 40-50 miles.
