43 filled the basement stove with chestnut oak. I gotta blow leaves and pick up an anniversary gift before I get back to splitting.

That's a open bag of alfalfa haylage (fermented chopped alfalfa) we are feeding out of, was just getting ready to start loading my first batch of cow feed.

It was in the high 20s this morning, woke up to horses not being in the right pastures so got to fix fence and move horses around right away this morning.

Got the OWB filled up with mostly maple this morning.

I got my bunny boots out this morning.
I like having my feet well insulated when outside.

Back in 1945 my parents lived in ND for a couple of years. When they moved there they were told if it is starting to snow in the morning, stay home.

Spruce is stacked by the OWB for the week, looks like we will finally make some ice. I need to cross some rivers to go winter moose hunting. I changed out the belts on the Tundra LT 600 Ace. Boys used it to bring wood over to the boiler. 734AFFC0-FD4B-4EDC-9973-6263B0EE6B97.png

Just grabbing the cottonwood out of my piles in the basement. It's warm down here, but the rest of the house is kinda suffering, most because the wind is blowing pretty good. Cottonwood isn't the greatest...
