    New seasons low.
Debating on refueling the generator and plugging in the truck for my wife. Let the generator run all night long. IMG_20211110_211129718.jpg

Couldn't get to the black spruce without a lot of work. So I have some nice sound 5" rounds of Aspen in the stove.

26 here this morning. The Wood Gun ran out of firewood o_O and now the bubblin goo kicked on!:emb::picard:My fault. I didn’t think we would have that much demand after the beautiful day we had yesterday. Fire going again with Maple and Beech to get things back to normal.

Temp in 40's and they say 60 again today with wind and rain followed by more normal temps. Most of the snow forecast has been cancelled due to lack of interest, I guess.

Wet outside this morning. But the temp of 41 makes it mild. Wind is beginning to give a gust every now and then also.

Lol they are interested in taking about the snow here. It's supposed to snow Friday by me.

Rainy and windy today. 52° and headed down to 36° tonight.

Supposed to only get to 39° tomorrow and the snow is supposed to start early in the am. Then mix of rain/snow and then just snow.

Balsam fir in the stove. Overnight I'll put in box elder and some elm or ash shorts

Lots of rain and wind here today. Temp is mid 50's. Leaves falling everywhere.

Boiler is still wondering when the cold weather is going to show up. Still running it for a couple hours a day to make DHW, but have only need a little bit of heat so far this year.

Got a fire going this morning with one reload around noon. Still comfortable in the house and the fire is out. I will get it going again in the morning. We got 1.75 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. Might see some snow tonight and tomorrow.

Currently 43f with 23 MPH winds heading to a low of 36f. Tomorrow looking at 39f and a low tomorrow night of 26f. Been running a few small loads to bake in the paint on the rebuilt IS but pretty much game on now. Sitting at 500 stovetop with out the cat engaged yet burning locust and mulberry.

44F here with clear sky. Snow & rain mix tomorrow & then snow over the weekend they say. Highs in the upper 30's so I really don't expect much other than a sloppy mess. Ash & Maple in the boiler.

Coldest at the house today was 12 below. Warmest was 3 below. Shoveled 4 gallons of ashes out of the woodstove this afternoon. Then threw on some ss poplar splits on top of a big bed of hot coals. It was burning before I got the door closed.
Getting healthier but not back to my old self yet.

Funny how big a difference it feels in the start of winter between 3 above and 10 below. It's warmed up to 3 above and feels kinda warm.

Still not cold here but the wind does not let you feel too welcome at times.
