    70 here. House was so nice and cool this morning when I got up.
    Just looked at my records and my first fire last year was 9/19. Just to take chill off
    Don't know when it will be this year, but I have to get on the stick and get some wood staged at the house.

    We've been burning small fires here for the past few weeks. Have had a small fire going steady for a few days. This morning there was 1/4 " of ice in the totes under the waves.
    It's in the 50s at the moment.
    Just burning some firekilled white spruce.

    Good frost on the windshield this morning. Wood stove puttered along all night. I put in 2 pieces of spruce this morning and closed it down.

    I looked at temps in MI yesterday afternoon and they varied from high 80's to the high 50's.

    Only down to 58 this morning. 74 expected later.
