62F now and projecting 85-90F for a high (all week). Heading out soon for day 4 of cutting on my log pile. 2.5-3 hrs a morning is all I can take. Stupid season to cut in but it's what worked out this year. Feels good to get out and do the deal for a bit each day! Darn pile had been haunting me at night:loco:  Cut me up mister. Get it done!

Enjoy your summer weather everyone. It'll be gone in a snap!

Nice morning here. Clear blue sunny skies. Smoke/PM2.5 is supposed to be low. Was 65ºF earlier at sunup. High for the day is forecast 79ºF, at least ten degrees cooler than yesterday and without the humidity.

Well it got up to 86ºF yesterday so we'll just have to see how warm it gets.
    It's nice right now.

Between 91f and 98f here for the next 7 days straight. Plus humidity for a rather warmish heat index.
    Our drought is accelerating nicelyo_O.
The old zero turn mower is getting a huge break in the action. My lawn is a beautiful shade of brown. Just the way I like it.
    A/C is cranking.
My little pool is now transformed into a hot tub!
Geez. No biggie. Over soon enough I reckon! Stay cool all.

Just got back home from a whirlwind trip and being a Yooper again. Dang it felt good to be there again. I'll have to go back soon as I really miss it.

No complaints this morning...46 degrees and a rare sunny day. Felt like an early taste of fall. Good day to load up and deliver a cord of firewood I sold to a friend.

But it sounds like a good soaking rain vs down pour. Which is a good thing.

Just catchin’ up, we’re back to more “Seasonal Temps” here at the house. We have the “Grandogter” for the weekend, it was a Perfect morning for her am walk.

For those getting more rain than they like, down in Southern Oregon they are PRAYING for ANY rain they can get, the whole state has a well below rain/snow levels for the year, but Southern Oregon is in especially BAD shape.

The “Bootleg “ Fire, as of last night, exceeded 400,000 acres, it is now Oregon’s THIRD Largest Fire in History, and still growing. Latest is over 150 structures (many likely AG buildings) more than 50 of those were Homes, Lost :(. A week and a half ago, I was working out of Medford, OR, out between Klamath Falls and Lakeview, OR, the Smoke was so heavy, the visibility was down to 1/2-3/4 of a mile. I talked to 2 of our drivers down there this week, one had a detour to get to Lakeview, the other normally delivers, Alturas, CA, then Lakeview and home through K Falls, he had to back track through Alturas to get home.

our fire season is already at Late August to Mid September conditions, and has been for several weeks

I get tired of the rain, pretty quickly, we get a lot of it 8-9 months of the year, but right now, a nice steady drizzle would be almost like a Lottery Win here
