69F at 5AM. Heading to 77F for a high. May even get a drop or two of rain. Nice. We've been in the low 90's with zero real rain for a looong time. Yards are crispy brown and crops are looking really poor. On the other hand our cheapy pool and the one's at our two nearest neighbors have been getting used daily. Perfect pool weather.
Yesterday we had another short shower but when it was done we had 1" in rain gauge. Very soggy this morning.
I went to my Tuesday evening trap night shoot and it was still 90º at 6pm. We had a high of 93º yesterday and supposed to hit 95º again today.
Its getting a bit better. I had opened up the house for a short time but everything was getting sticky wet so now it is closed up again until some more humidity is out of the air.
Almost turned off the A/C and opened windows myself... Then I walked outside. Soup. Needless to say the A/C is still on keeping the humidity at bay. Wet and sticky indoors is noooo good At least we are having a few sprinkles off and on.
I dumped an inch 0f rain from gauge yesterday and the id another .8" in there now. Probably will get a bunch more yet today and tonight. Well, they say maybe heavy rain tomorrow. Some severe storms again south of us.
Sounds as if Fri. is our best bet for significant rain. Really hoping we get it. I have a ton of cardboard boxes etc. to burn up thanks to da wife... And her best friend, Amazon
Y’all just need to start a rain and/or weather report thread... I see this thread pop up and think “surely not yet!!!”
Don't you have recycling there? It is handy just taking boxes (broken down) out to the road once per week.
You sure have been getting a bunch of rain lately, we're in for it starting tonight through Friday, 1-3 inches.
After it stoped raining here around noon, I dumped out 1.14 inches that we had gotten in the past 24 hours. Now we need some nice dry days.
Its been raining for quire some time again with more on the way. Longer term forecast sounds like it will be wet for the next 2 weeks.
High of 88F today. Feels good compared to 100F we were stuck on for awhile. A couple days of rain would really help the forest and farmers right now!
We had mid 50s overnight, but north of here in Hibbing MN there was a low temp 0f 34f with widespread frost in a lot of NE Minnesota.
That always feels good in mid summer! In high 50's here. We've been in 60's for the high temps the last 2 days and it has been welcome, except for the mosquitoes.

For the last few days Mi is the coldest in the US. Even this morning 40's were over several areas and no doubt some 30's with 50's over the rest of the state.
