Rain ended this morning. Was still damp and cool most of the day. Low 60's. A few peeks of sun late and it dried out enough for us to grill. Hardwood nuggets in the firepit. IMG_5115.JPG Chicken wings on the charcoal. Tossed in some buffalo sauce after. IMG_5112.JPG
    Happy Summer FHC!

Dewpoint now at 72* YUCK. A sweat-o-rama as a former weather forecaster used to call it. Days like today i hate working outdoors. Stay cool fellow hoarders! :dennis:

We have had nonstop rain where I am so hopefully some better (although hotter) weather this week so I can do some grilling. I have a lot of work to do on that pile.

Finally had a bit cooler overnight. Feels good with windows open and cool coming in. Next week it sounds like windows will be closed and still cool inside. Much better!

Since we have 12 splits inside and the last two days have been cooler with tonight headed down to 45, I started a fire in the Lopi Liberty.

We had 43 this morning so the splits that we burned overnight did the trick.

Front just came through. Some strong wind, thought for sure was going to lose a kentucky coffee tree. But didnt. Heavy rain. Cooled off nicely.
Will have to take a walk in woods later this week to check for blow downs, also keep an eye on craigslist.

I left PA yesterday morning and was happy to get out of the oven. 64 when I got home and 41 this morning. I know there were some frost warnings in some areas and there may have been some as I see 30's not far from us. One reported high 20's but not official.
