Rain all day yesterday with steadily dropping temps and high winds. 7pm it hit 42F. 7:01pm I grabbed a small armload of Ash and loaded up the stove. 41f here now and the house is good and warm. I believe this may be a new late burn date record for us. High of low to mid 50's today with 39f tonight. Might just keep the stove running another 24hrs.

We had 38.5 for a low so I let the furnace run for 10 minutes.

There is not much nice to say about the weather today... I had a small fire late yesterday and re-started it just a few minutes ago. I'm glad I put some wood on the porch yesterday morning.

Supposed to be an overnight low of 38 tonight. Can’t believe I might make a fire this close to June...

About 44 this morning with light rain when I got up. Rain stopped now and the rain gauge had .86 inches of water in it. Rained most of the day, yesterday. Warming up this weekend.

We decided to bring in a smaller load of pine and some hardwood that was stacked in with it and start a fire in the Liberty. We'll burn what we brought in and then see what the temps are going to be before we bring in anymore.

Same here. 39 projected as the low tonight. I need to bring in reserve uglies. I burnt all of the stuff I had at the house already.

I put in 2 big short ash chunks this am. And burned ash and Norway maple last night.

Rain, rain, rain. Currently 52. Not quite sure what lows will be but there's a pretty good chance I will be able to have a fire tomorrow morning.

It's 42.7 at the moment with a low of 41 forecast for the morning, I'll load up the Lopi with some White Pine and a few splits of Cherry for the overnight fire.

It's late May right? My calendar is on the right month? lol
I just lit my stove with some lumber scraps and 2 splits of pine. 48*, lots of wind and rain and it's only going into the mid-50s for the high. I feel bad for the business owners who are relying on tourist over the holiday weekend.

33 at the house this morning at 6AM. Burning #2 fuel oil. It should warm up nicely today so this may be the last day of needing the furnace to run.
