We've been having a small fire here most mornings. Wife likes one in the evening but it gets too hot for the dogs and me. Should have lit a small fire this morning but haven't yet.
Minnesota like running 32-50s F just enough for a fire at night .. otherwise by 6:00 am house is to cool ... Birch at 47f at 10:24 am . Minnesota and Alaska about the same ? Last couple nightd felt like it could snow .. lol alot humidity and 32-40f trips the Minnesota Arctic sensors ..lol Sent from my LGL722DL using Tapatalk
BIL had low 20's yesterday morning (22). This morning should be the same as the temps have not listened to the weather predicters and dropped below freezing once again 24 here.
It rained quite a bit here yesterday. Things were starting to begin to dry up some here . Then the air force had to get involved and make it rain. They had to work their ads off to get it to. But they managed it. Then it cleared off over night and we had a good hard frost. My wife was really torqued off because she had to find an ice scraper to clear off the windshield of her rig this morning @ 4:30. When I got up it was 50° in the house. Definately fire time. Used cutoff lumber scraps from in the house. I have framed in the bathroom and temp bedroom so I had something to start the fire without going outside
2nd morning its cold indoors without fire. Read my lips....... Not gonna happen..... Again Fire started now. Warmth developing nicely. Problem solved.
That had to be no fun at all for either of you. 38 this morning but the temp has gone up 5 degrees in the last hour. 2 mornings in a row with no freeze.
It's 83.8 in the shade today with another 80 degree day forecast for tomorrow. After a long winter and some cooler temps this spring, it feels nice.
I forgot to post that I shut down the OWB as of this past weekend. I'll have to measure up just how little amount of wood the mild winter required.
Our low this morning was 64. We usually don't see this until July. Predicted 85 today and 88 tomorrow.
It's 84 at the moment and we would like about four straight days of rain, that would help but we're behind on our rainfall totals.
I CLASS TODAY AS OUR FIRST HOT DAY OF THE YEAR. Whoops, I don't mean to shout. I did not expect this because our humidity and dewpoint was not that high; humidity below 40% and dewpoint 54 should not feel this bad. The bugs like it but I don't.
