Struggling to get much above 45f in the day over here at the moment, dropping to 30 overnight. Burning some maple.
Was around +12 @ the homestead when I got here this morning. Fire killed white spruce in the stove here. Went from +8 inside to + 65 in the main room in the house with 1 armload of wood. I'm hoping that 4 armload will keep the house toasty when its completed.
Looks like about 42. Maple and Beech in the Wood Gun. I was able to leave boiler off for 24 hours from yesterday morning. Beautiful day yesterday with temperatures above 70. Suppose to see 72 here today.
We've been having the morning temps in the low 50's with the temps during the day in the shade around 74 and 80 in the direct sun. We haven't had chit for rain so the Brook that runs through our property is at about July levels, we have some rain coming in but not nearly enough.
Has warmed up from the -24 low with a 9* high for the day, one more negative night then it turns. Highs forecasted to be in the 40’s and lows in the teens.
56 this morning and we had some pretty heavy rain overnight. I think this is the worst I have seen the mulch beds/ landscaping around the house look. Weeds are taking over from this early warm up.
It's 45° out. It won't get that warm either, but I let the stove go out and probably won't have a fire for a few days, at best. Even with the t stat at 65°, the furnace turned on like twice last night. I'm fine with that. So the only fires I'll be having are outside, unless I really want to.
Was a low of -10* last night was holding that when I left work this morning at 0800, has warmed to 8 by 1000. This was our last time below zero in the 1 day forecast. Will be spring soon.
