Ended up with almost 5" of wet heavy snow. Low was 18. Sun now and melting that fresh stuff from wherever wasn't plowed/shoveled.
Temp dropped in a hurry this afternoon when the West wind picked up. Got a stove full of cherry going.
35 with gutsy winds on Oak Hill this morning. Not goin in the woods. I'll find something to repair or maintain inside.
We had 26 and two inches of snow this morning, some azz never made an overnight fire or even set the furnace so it would kick on.
Something found me. Friends of ours are building a garage. He dug footers on Friday. It poured rain yesterday. I helped him muck out the footers today so he can pour concrete tomorrow.
Oh that's not fun, when I dug out a section of our basement wall I was almost done digging it out (by hand with a shovel) that night it rained... Sticky wet heavy clay, was not fun to finish digging. Still 62 out right now, going down to 38 tonight, OWB is working on a load of the best of wood you can burn... Elm
Ended up starting a fire with sticks around the yard and a few uglies. House was getting cool to us. It was about 69bin here and going down in the 40s tonight so I needed some heat.
It's 30.6 tonight with a low in the mid 20's forecast, we have some maple and cherry going in the wood stove.
What the heck? Checked on the outside temp about an hour or so ago and it reads 50! Stayed windy all night long.
You again beat us in temperature. As for me, I'm really getting tired of all the wind, but more is on the way.
Temp is not bad this morning but feels chilly. Supposed to get into the 60's but then get chilly for several days.
