Sunny blue skies but only 18F with a stiff breeze making it feel worse. The house is pushing 80 inside due to some barkless black locust and Mimosa splits.

We had 4.4 this morning with a wind outside that makes it feel like -10. The Liberty saw a load of sugar maple and yellow birch.

-8* and the OWB and spruce keeping it 72* inside. Our lows have warmed up since the weekend, or school hosted the high school state hockey tournament. So much work behind the scenes to pull off a good tournament, we really enjoyed being part of it all. Hope everyone had a good weekend. 8FD2FA4D-8E7B-4591-AF9F-92215CC45965.png

31 here heading to 38 by morning. Transitioned you’re the stove a week or so ago with the milder temps. Have a bunch of little stuff to get burned up, so it works good for that. Maple chunks tonight. I’ll throw a few more on before heading to bed. Some blue flames in there tonight:coldfire: 15C9BEE3-E77D-4FC2-845D-73AF34624114.jpeg

No fire in stove as I just let it burn out but still 81 in here.

8D16A161-9C72-47D8-9CA2-5DFC565368CD.jpeg A gentle 25F outside, with a mix of red oak and tulip poplar rolling the flames. It won’t be too long before the stove sits idle until fall.
