Added some box elder, pine and a split of oak at 9 last night. Fire out this morning and house was comfortable. Started a hot fire before work. Around 40 or so. Shoulder season here already?

28 and 72. Going down to 18. Red oak burning, we had 20” of snow on the ground. It’s all but gone in a weeks time.

    Gutsy winds out there.
Hope it dries out the mud.

18F here & clear. I'm guessing down around 10 tonight a well. Cold north wind all day. Straight load of Elm in the boiler tonight. Snows all gone but a few piles & shaded areas. 50 with sun on Wednesday they claim.
Looks like that Kubota is earning it's keep Rope .

We have 3 to 4 inches of new snow with some winds earlier that picked up pretty good. The temp tonight is 2.1 with the wood stove being used all day but the pellet stove will be used so we have a constant heat throughout the night.

-3 and the wind is gone. Thankfully. The cold and windchill sucked the firewood out of the Wood Gun faster than I thought it would, causing the bubblin goo to turn on this morning. Can’t be havin dat!

Dropped down to -5 at the time I fired up the OWB last night. Sitting at 16 now so there was a real nice warm up overnight.

14 this morning. Tonight's low predicted at 30 though. Most of the really cold air should be about done for this year.

10F this morning. Windy as hell last night and today. With the wind chill we were at -30F. Lost power about 10pm. Said to the wife, see....this is why we have a woodstove. Then I rolled over and fell asleep.

We bottomed out at - 2.9 this morning with some winds that made it nasty out, the pellet stove had the temp up here at 71 this morning and 83 in the basement. I turned the pellet stove off and we have a load of soft & sugar maple in the Liberty.

We did get what looks like just over four inches of snow in the driveway, since it's all ice underneath, I packed down the snow on the driveway with the truck but once it looks like the melt will start again, I'll start plowing again.
