    17* outside, 73* inside.........by far our coldest morning of winter so far. Big ole oak limb still going strong this morning to keep the blower going. Couple of pine splits mixed with some oak to keep it nice and toasty in here. Need to move some wood into the shed before Monday as they are calling for some good snow fall in our area.

    Holy $#!T Rope o_O I know Alaska is most likely the most beautiful state in the Nation but for sure the coldest also.

    I got nothing on some of you, 18º but at least the wind has calmed down... Was blowing 30mph yesterday this time.

    13 out, just loaded some oak and locusts in the Buck stove. Had the ng boiler set on 70 and it had kicked in.

    Looks like 3 was our low. I was up a few times during the night and the house temp was at 81 each time. Now it is at 79. Might have to put a shirt on.

    The Quadrafire did good last night. Got down to -10. This is my first time burning this much locust at once. Very happy with it and the heat and burn time with it. -3 right now, and 68 in the house. Morning sun is nice and strong for a change.

    I have two thermometers one has the transmitter out on the side of my shed it registered -15* this AM the other one hangs on one of my porch posts it registered -20 this AM. Not sure which is correct I do know that it is :shiver::shiver::shiver::shiver::shiver: The dogs didn't stay out long. Nice and toasty 72* inside. SBH, RO and SM in the OWB.

    27 this morning and paper birch keeping the house warm. Not expecting much snow, maybe a couple inches by tomorrow morning. Filled up the wood boxes in the garage this morning.
