Just above zero now, highs around 15. Burning a mix of maple, oak, and elm.

23 in NC and I don’t like it. Wife is burning oak at an unprecedented rate. Lol
Fortunately we are a week away from a streak of 50’s. Stay warm folks, the February grind is upon us.

Single digits here and windy , wind chill well below zero today , weather forecast says it will be a full day of frigid temperatures. Have been pretty lucky so far this season so we are due for an' arctic blast ' as they are calling it.
Still burning a mixture of hardwood but that pile is getting near the end , then on to oak for the rest of the season.

-5 here right now with a constant wind. They warn wind chills as cold as -25.

I have a mix of Cherry and Maple in the Wood Gun, and the bubbling goo is kicking on a little as well. But that is because I didn’t get up earlier and load more into the burn chamber. I guess I should have done that around 5-5:30. I actually got up at 4 and checked it but it wasn’t even running then. So between 4-6:30 it ran out of wood. Still had some red embers in it so it started right back up no prob.

Currently below zero here. Not by much, but it just may make it to -5 before it swings around.

I didn't run either the pellet or wood stove overnight, we burned some oil. This morning we bottomed out at - 3.8 with a load of Ash and Red Maple going in the Liberty.

I did take some ashes out and we have some wind back here that makes it feel a bit colder.

20 and 71 this morning. Loaded the stove with hackberry. We are in the 6-9” range. That’s a big snow for us. Hope we get it.
