    50 outside now with a moderate breeze and rain. Forecast calls for lowering temps, supposed to reach 32 by 9am Tomorrow. Ash doin it’s job in the stove.

    21 with a stout NW wind. Boiler has a little bit of everything in it...oak, poplar, walnut, and some hedge.

    Snow showers hitting, bit light. The high today has been mid twenties F. dropping overnight with a high of 25 tomorrow. The boiler is happy, and the fireplace has kindling awaiting sundown.

    Wet and mucky down south, so we decided not to Christmas at the cabin. Staying at the homestead. Plan to play in the woods over the weekend

    21F this morning, 22 now, stiff beeze & some light snow on & off. Hauled two loads of saw logs to a friend of mine. Inside now watching it snow. Elm & Pine in the boiler.

    -11* and 72* spruce keeping things warm for Santa. It great working another holiday, only 7 more Christmas's, well 7 more of every holiday before retirement. Then its time to work harder and have every holiday off with the family.

    Merry Christmas Tom, I just got home from a 12 hr. shift. I as well am counting the time to retirement. Anyway, 50 here with heavy rain, crazy! At least we will have a white Christmas, there is still 1/2 the snow left. No fire, a day off.
