    Our temperature is going up. The guessers say 50 at 1 am tomorrow morning. But we are under a high wind advisory till 9pm tomorrow night.

    24 out 74 in. Burning some leftover coals from the half load of beech limbs overnight. Supposed to be wet and windy tonight with possible power outages, but in the 40’s today so another mostly hemlock day, a piece or two at a time.

    37F outside with winds gusting to 35 mph. We are at our high for the day. 74F inside however. Stove is puttering along nicely on it' recent diet of 4 yr seasoned Elm, Maple and Cottonwood. Good stuff.

    Mid-20's here. Still had embers from overnight in the stove so easy to restart with some ash. Nice load of beech is burning now.

    It’s currently a balmy 34 degrees outside. 74 in the house. The snow finally stopped, but the wind is HOWLING today. Kept me up most of the night. Seems to be a theme across the country right now, based on some other FHC updates on here.

    Here’s a pic from my drive home from work yesterday. Pretty dicey, but not too many other vehicles on the road.
