    Been high 70s with moderate humidity here lately. Low 50s overnight . Good sleeping weather. Haven’t even had a fire in the pit lately because of a stretch of 90s. May start having them again.
    Wood is pretty much all put up and ready. Looking forward to fall and slower times. This year has been hell at work.

    Been lucky and thankful not to had the bad storms as many but its been allot of hot and humid days for a while now. Not normal for here. Im trying to remember being tired of winter come Feb. LOL.. Love the fall and have much to do out side.

    Absolutely. Maybe no record breaking high temps but an awful long stretch of no rain, hot, sunny days.
    I like it though, except for the dry soil. Watching everything parch and shrivel up is no joy.

    Our normal used to be 6. I'll bet it is at least 10 now. Not good. I also do not remember so many days with such high dewpoints. Really makes one look forward to fall.

    58 F here this morning. Forecasting a high of 84 here today. But the actual high temperature has been running 3-4 degrees higher than the forecasted one. Enough of this heat. :loco: :crazy: Best time of the year is ahead of us. Next 4 months will be sweet Hoarders!:dex:

    I just found an interesting old post. I made it on 9/22/2017; 3 years ago.

    "Up until yesterday we did not see a 90 degree day all summer and have not run our air conditioner for quite some time. That all changed yesterday when we hit 95. Today will probably be about the same but more humid.

    BTW, today is the first official day of fall."

    What a difference from this year! I hope next year is more like 2017 was!
