Yesterday afternoon was really amazing. Temperature dropped to 62 degrees and a bit windy. Had to put on some heavier clothing too! I can live with that for sure. Even kept the mosquitoes down which really made it nice. Closed up the whole house. Seemed weird but nice.
today was 31 its the hightest we wil get in england, just got out the pool again it was so warm. now on the beer.
Overnights in the low 40's here still require a quick fire in the NC-13 to take out the chill in the mornings at the cottage. Today will be a hot one with high temps nearing 80!
83 here now. Warm mostly sunny day with some clouds mixed in. Tad humidity. No AC in the house. Hardwood nuggets and framing scraps in the firepit. Hot & spicy sausage on the charcoal. Eating outside.
cooling back down. expecting 2 to 6 inches of snow after midnight. only down to 49 right now, but I still have the fire going. (only source of heat)
Boy that snow is sounding mighty welcome here. We're definitely into the hot season of the year and it will last a couple more months.
Been working outside this morning. Sun is definitely hot but temperature is still only 79. That means it is going to get much hotter before this day is done.
Mostly cloudy unsettled day here. Very humid. Had AC running in PU and is on in the house. 73* now. Some thundershowers this afternoon. Grilling got rained out last night so i started the fire and charcoal tonight. Nuggets, bark and framing scraps in pit. Hand pressed burgers on the charcoal Happy Summer all!
Air conditioners will be running here in a couple days. Forecast over a week of 90 degrees or higher. Do not like this at all.
Mostly sunny day here. 79* with some humidity, but not like it was yesterday or earlier in the week. The usual hardwood nuggets, bark and framing scraps in the firepit. Mesquite marinated steak tips on the charcoal! They were delicious. Happy 4th all!
62 here this morning. Loving it. Got up during the night and turned off air conditioning and opened up the house to let the cool air in. Sweet!
We have had 6 days in a row of 90 or above temps with only one upcoming day in the high 80's for the next week. The record for the number of consecutive days at or above 90 is 16 and that was set back in the mid 30's, the dust bowl era.
Low 90s., not super humid. Im hanging in the shade of the woods, splitting some cherry rounds. Breeze going nicely. Still HOT. But its tolerable and kind of pleasant when I take my multiple water breaks
