We hadn't had a fire in days, maybe a week? The weekend was amazing temperature wise, mid 70's. Then the pneumonia front kicked in and it's 42° out right now.

I have silver maple going on the quadrafire. This week is to be colder, at least relatively. Highs in the 50's and lows around the upper 30's.

I think we are done burning pellets for the year. We got about 5 days of spring it seems. Going to be in the low 80's today and 97° by Tuesday.

This really hurts bad. Typically we get cold around the 7th-10th of May and in years like this, we lose all or most of our fruit.

    Peach tree.JPG
This is our youngest peach tree now in full blossom. The apple blossoms will be opening this week and we can see lots of blossoms. However, with the forecast, it appears we'll probably lose all of the apples and peaches. The lowest forecast I see right now is 28 and that can ruin the crop. Dang.... Oh yes, snow on Friday too.

I see that crap-cast. No snow here supposedly, but yeah, that's no good. Hopefully they change this forecast again before these days get here and it's not actually that cold

That happened to us last year with our apple trees, it’s so frustrating. Best of luck this week

no idea what happened. Woke up in the morning and it was reading 158. It sat like that for some of the day, then started working properly again. I'm not a big fan of Acu Rite.

The stove will be cold overnight for the first time but I know I’ll be firing it up again first thing in the morning. Supposed to be down to 40 in the morning but it’s still 74 inside.
