58 and raining, nothing in the stove now, but supposed to dive down tonight. High wind warning today, we’ll see if anything comes down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In the 20's this morning. We got around 2 inches of snow and not much of it stuck to the driveway. Supposed to start warming up later in the week with 60 by the weekend. It is supposed to be windy today but being sheltered by some hills, not much air is moving around the house.
OT hovering around 50. I have a small fire going in the basement just to keep the chill off and ready to go cuz it's supposed to dip down to the low 30's overnight. WOW is it windy out here right now. The wife is ready to head for the basement at any time now. Hope we don't get a repeat of the storm in 2012 when I came home to this. Insert Car Insurance commercial here...
Got up to 54 and it went up to 60. Along with that rain. Just started a fire as temps are suppose to start dropping. House starting to cool down. Ash in the stove. Dipping into next year's wood. Furnace is out of commission for now.
Hey yooperdave I see they really cut back the amount of snow forecast. I had seen around 24" forecast once but you'll still get a goodly amount. We are happy that we are not greedy and will let you have all of it. Presently 39 (was 50 at 8:30) and wind 25-40.
I measured 14 1/2" just before cleanup this morning. A bitter cold wind form the WNW makes it feel like 11 outside. My gloves have hoes in them and now my fingers are cold from the walk!
Gonna be in the 40’s tonight so I’ll probably burn a small fire to knock the chill off. We dodged the big tornadoes in our neck of the woods yesterday. Down south of me they wasn’t so lucky. 11 fatalities and millions of dollars of damage. Y’all say a prayer for the folks in south Mississippi.
Don't understand what the problem was. Lot of free firewood there!........ Seriously though, sorry for your loss! Gotta say, stout little truck.
Temps all over the place here. 3 days ago it was 48 at night and mid 60*'s during the day. Last couple nights 32* and 33*. Even that cold it heats up quick and sunny outside so fires in the AM only and out by 1 in the afternoon. Using up some Fir and Madrone uglies. There is yellow Fir tree pollen all over everything!
I think you're getting a little carried away loading. Maybe you should think of breaking it up to a few loads. Gas is cheap you know.
When it rains while the sun is shinning, you can bet you'll get some more rain the next day. Same goes for snow. I've seen this fail only a couple of times.
Not that cold overnight; 30. But not expecting it to warm up much today but should be back to 50 by the weekend.
It is snowing hard right now. If it were to keep this up all day we'd be buried. Thankfully it is just a show shower.
