Was really nice yesterday, almost 60, worked outside all day. 34 right now, fixing to get smoked with a few inches of wet snow... Welcome to Wisconsin spring
Winter cometh. Again. Lows in the lower 20's and highs in the 30's for days. Hope it slows my lawn growth. Hate to be mowing in Carhardts
26*F with 30 mph winds and about two inches of snow on Easter morning. The lows for most of the coming week look to be in the teens and highs in the forty’s. Looks like I’ll be running the stove pretty steady for at least another week. Elm mostly, next season I’ll have some shoulder season wood. Got to get more wood hauled in the house today
49 outside. Ash in the stove because why not. Happy Easter y’all! He is risen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They changed our forecast and now say we may see 60 today. 51 right now. Falling temps tomorrow then another taste of winter. Stove will probably not go out after tomorrow; at least for the rest of the week.
32f here, no snow just light drizzle most of the day. Started the stove back up with some odds and ends. May have to bring another load or two to the garage as will run out tomorrow.
Yep over it has been snowing on and off last night and today. 24* and 10* on the wind chill. Had a fire going all day. Elm and Lodge pole. I do not know if you will see any of this your way Stephiedoll.
Fired up the OWB 45 min ago and it is snowing like its on a mission! 3" so far. Maybe it'll quit by morning?
We ended up with 5" once it started sticking. It was kind of pretty with it sticking to everything, but I liked the look of 60f, sunshine, and my greening up grass on Saturday better. Now it is dark and pretty cold outside, and it is going to stay cold until Saturday when we are supposed to hit 60f again. It is warm by the fire anyways.
Probably 3” of snow on Easter morning, some melted away in the afternoon. 12*F this morning. Loaded the stove with oak last night. It’s the first time I’ve ever burned a full load of just oak. I scored one pickup load last fall, I just don’t have any around my area. Now I see why everyone likes it so much. If I had access to it regularly I could probably cut my wood consumption by 30%. The rest of what I have will be saved for the coming winter
