Upper 20's this morning with about an inch of fresh snow. None of it stuck on the driveway and the sun is coming out nicely. Fire going in the Lopi.

No sunshine yet, but it does seem that the clouds are thinning enough to let the roads and sidewalk/driveway pick up some radiant heat and melt snow from last night.

    25 now.

Cloudy today. Rain not far from us but so far it has busted up before it has got to us. We did see a peek at the sun but it did not last long at all. Fire in stove.

Roger, please forgive me but I think you are being selfish. It would seem to me that you would want to keep those ladies happy rather than drawing a line. If they are cold or even cool, will it break the bank or do harm to make them a bit more comfortable?

Perhaps I'm different simply because I am different. I have to keep the house much warmer than most people because of a physical problem due to having had polio. Simply put, I get cold very easily. Sometimes it does get to my wife but then she will do one of two things; turn on her little fan to help cool her or even step out on the porch for a bit but she does not gripe about me being cold. She knows why I am cold and does not mind me keeping it warm in the house. I would think you should feel the same way toward your women.

    Sorry for the rant.

Around 2" sleet and some ice yesterday morning (29F) and only got to 33F for the day. Down to mid twenties last night. Had some misc. pieces along with a yellow pine beam piece about 8"x8"x12". It was still burning at 4am this morning. Currently 40F with another smaller load of firewood, the dry Woodie kind maybe 3 years old. And here I was thinking of getting it boxed up for a road trip to Woodstock.

40 this morning. Boiler is still off with the leftovers of Beech in it from last night. Suppose to go to a high of 52 about 5-6PM here.

You knew it was coming. :D

On the other side of this, not as cold air moving in for mid-week, then cold again by next weekend, but maybe not as cold!

Did some raking, aired up the wheel barrow tire and probably going to take a skip to the cottage today or tomorrow. Still sunny and looks like 50's today.

Its snowing lightly outside with a few more inches of snow yesterday to add to our snow pack. The yard is still frozen and snow covered but like others have noted, the roads heat up enough to help with snow removal. -2c/28f. Looks like some sun coming our way in the days ahead before another mini cold front hits us later in the week. Lodgepole pine in the stove warming up the house. Im looking forward to when the back country opens up so I can start replenishing my stacks.

Last couple of days it has gradually warmed up. It is 60 today and right now the sun is out. Tomorrow is suppose to be nicer. Been a good drying spell. Still have a long way to go but it is a start.

We'll overlook it. We all know you've earned it, for Pete's sake! :handshake:

Right at freezing here this morning but overcast today so far. Feels like the low 20's for some reason.

The robins will be eating a cold breakfast once again!

Another freeze overnight. Amazing. The old saying is that frogs have to be froze up 6 times but I think we are around a dozen so far this spring. Temperature is warming fast and now they say we might hit 60 for our high. That's okay with me.

Robins will be snowed on 3 times is another saying. I wonder if you have heard of that one?
