    Occasional brief shower
    red maple.
    Some of it is rather soft and burns up pretty quick. No one is going anywhere so now is a good time to use it up.

    46* out this morning supposed to head on up. I put a couple small cherry splits in to keep it idling along so the heat pump won't kick on. Medium load of cherry overnight had kept us at 73* throughout the house just like the orders I receive from The Boss.

    Never got the rain or snow that was predicted and that's just fine! :yes: Had just a little bit of mist, was all.

    Overnight, temps dropped to 29. Overcast now.

    Snow this weekend. We can see some ground where I kept the path shoveled....but that'll be under snow once again.

    37f at this hour and cloudy. We should hit the mid 50s today with some sun. I have all day to put away the winter ice fishing equipment and get the garden stuff organized a bit... but I am in no way going to put away the shovels and snowblower just yet...but sure hoping they are not going to be needed until November!
