    Sitting at 26 now. Man, after the added insulation, and in these mild temps, the furnace blower motor hardly ever runs!

    37F this am. I loaded the stove at 8 am yesterday morning. Went to bed at 11pm last night to pooped to reload. Stove was actually cool and lifeless this AM. It's been a loooong time since I let it go out. The house had dropped to 64! Zoiks. Crisis. Wife was chilly after her shower. I heard about it:whistle: Quickly loaded up on Elm and touched her off. So nice!

    Was a lot of junk left in the boiler this morning. Stirred things up and raked to the front. couple odd pieces ,a few shovels of bark dust and other junk and a 4x6 with pallet boards nailed to it should finish the day. Got the loader out and shoved all the small trash up to the boiler for easier shoveling.

    Looks like we'll be back into the high 50's tomorrow then 3 cooler days before hitting 50 again.

    Went to the city yesterday and on the way we did not see much for snow patches; just a few small ones left so we are basically snow free. I hope it stays that way until November.

    35 feels like 29 with cold rain and wind picking up. 76 inside with beech. Looks like a cool down for 3-4 days then back above normal. Waiting for my garlic to break ground anytime now...
