OFFTOPIC: Contractor coming next week to work on the inside. If that works out, he can work on the outside too. I think those are the only areas that need work- the inside and the outside. The gentleman seems like a good guy, really no idea of his skill level or quality of work though. But I will spend a few bucks and find out..... There must be a competent contractor out there somewhere, right? Right? [looking up toward sky] Right? Brian
Mid 20's here with another lovely moonlit night outside. Big change from yesterday with all the wind and snow we had.
There's just enough snow on the ground to make the lawn white this morning. Got some pine going and some red maple on deck. Looks like a burn all day day.
28 here and windy, we were supposed to get a little snow but it moved elsewhere. Oh, burning Cherry and some small rounds of various pedigrees.
22 feels like 4 with the wind, 76 inside. Beech will be the reload later on this morning. Windy and in the 30’s today but it could be much worse if that huge storm over the atlantic was a little further west. Missed a bullet there but Nova Scotia won’t, lucky buggers I probably shouldn’t say it, but it’s looking like we might not get anymore snow. Fingers crossed! I’m not taking the snowblower off just yet though.
29 and snow covered, ash in the stove. Will replenish the stack in the basement tomorrow when the sun comes out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nope. Maybe 5" and it should have been a lot more for me as the conditions were prime for a good dumping. The wind was blowing in right off of "Gitchee Gumee" and dropping snow....just not much, thank you! Yesterday, we drove through an area that had close to that foot of snow.
18F this morning & made it up to 48 with sun today. Worked a lot clearing job all day & it was nice! Still 39 & 57 predicted tomorrow. Elm & Oak on the boiler because I'm out of dry shoulder wood yet again.
