13 feels like 5, 74 inside on a fresh load of beech. We got 6” of powder overnight that needs to be cleaned up soon because the wind is picking up. It was predicted to get up into the 20’s overnight but didn’t happen. Now I’m wondering if we’re really going to hit 30 today, but the sun is supposed to be out at least. Back in the freezer tonight through Wednesday. Definitely going through more wood.

18f this morning feeling like 7f. Not too bad temperature wise. Snow wise is a different story.....looks like easily 10-12 piled up before it moved on.

9° out now. That 38° big lake kept us a tiny bit warmer than Thor . I don't think it ever dropped lower than 9 last night. Still, not warm outside. All I could think about yesterday while snowblowing was white sand beaches and palm trees. Will I'm still here in the cold at the moment.

I rechooched the quadrafire at 8:30 with elm, ash, a stick of apple, and a couple of honey locust chunks from splits that were too long.

The furnace ran for a minute as typical after letting pups out and moving air around the house.

Doing my part to keep insulting snowflakes, everything is done as far as snow removal here. Now for the cottage.

Looks like its was around 12-14 inch range.

9* with a stiff north wind. Boiler just pulled off a 29 hour burn on some hedge with room to spare. Loaded another 30 hours worth in there. Should be good until tomorrow evening even with the high of 17 and low of 10 today and tonight.

11 outside with a stiff breeze, I was planning on going over to the pasture to split today, but I'll find some stuff to do in the shop instead... Stove is cranking. Stove room at 90 and the rest of the house holding at 71*.
