30 here this morning with a prediction of about 40 and less wind than last night thankfully. Burning some uglies to keep the chill out. Looks like a mixed bag tomorrow with mostly rain for us. I’m in no rush for snow. Well Seasoned I can see the snow glare from here :binoculars:You can have it for now :salute:

High of 45ºF this afternoon but the solar gain was perfect. Inside got up to 72ºF by around noon time.
Might need a quick short pine fire in the AM but it is supposed to rain all day and get up to 55ºF

Current temp 23°F sleeting pretty hard, supposed to transition to snow with around a half foot expected. Loaded the stove with mixed hw's- glad I brought all the wood in yesterday since it's becoming a sheet of ice.

I left for work @ 0430 this AM, no time for a fire, nor did I need one as the house was warm from last nights full load at bedtime. What I did need was to start my truck earlier than I did as the windshield was froze up from the freezing rain, temp was 31*

32 and we have a mixed mess falling so far but should warm up to rain soon hopefully. I just shoveled a little ash and put in a half load of bits and pieces.

So far a bit warmer outside than yesterday. Although yesterday was still nice, it was chilly enough one still needed gloves and ear covers along with a good coat. At least we had a few hours of sunshine yesterday and so far the same today but not sure if this will keep up. We usually don't see much sun at this time of the year.

Perhaps you should take some salt with you when you do go to visit!
