We’re supposed to be sunny all day and in the 40’s so it will be a light load this morning. Cabin fever is settling in already, glad to finally get a decent day.

It was 28* here when I got up, and 63 iat. Lit off with Cherry, only gonna burn a short while as temps getting into the high 40's and sunny today. Going to take advantage of the warm temps to do some much needed caulking.

The elk are bugling in the valley about 1/4 mile down the road. It’s a little late in the year to hear them. But I’ve heard them into December before. That always makes me smile. Got some silver maple going in the Jotul. Slept in today and got er’ going a little later than usual.

Is it sunny like we had yesterday? If so, man that was a beautiful fall day. Especially since it seems to have been winter for weeks.

Today, rain, 48° now, and Siberian elm, and Norway maple in the stove.

No sun for us. We did see it for a short time yesterday but not today. Also, they predicted for us to be in the 50's today but now they have cut it back to 46 for the high. It is starting to fall now too.

Got up to 48F here today with nasty wind & rain. Ground is now mush after nearly freezing up.:headbang:At least they're predicting a bit of sun over the weekend, but just bleh temps. 30's & low 40's for highs & just below freezing at night. I was much more enjoying the colder drier air. Gauge shows exactly 1/2" of rain for today. Pine & Catalpa in the boiler. Going down to 34 tonight.

32 here so started a fire but probably won't add anything to it. Looks like we might get a little sun today but not much yet.
