Same here papadave. I wanted to get out to stack more wood but am sitting here watching the radar. Big rain but so far all of it is busting up just before it gets to us. Normal...

We had a storm blow through early this AM while I was in bed that lasted about 5 minutes. Rained again after I got up. Windy and warm right now at 73 headed to 80 later. Fair amount of rain forecast for the next 1-2 weeks. Glad I got the shed almost where I want it.:dex:

Not liking this weather... Tried stacking more wood this morning but didn't last long. Decided to wait until better weather. I'll do some easy things today.

Yesterday was raining and the temp hovered around 45-48 F all day (7-9 C) so it was time to fire up the reactor. I forgot how much heat you get with a dinky amount of wood in above freezing weather! I can see another kindling fire happening this evening to chase the chill, although probably not really needed.

I need to cut up a few of the logs in the driveway. SisILaw can have all that, as most of it had WAAAAY too many limbs. Splitting won't be fun at all. It's a bit cooler today with rain later, so I may have time right now. I won't last more than 1/2 hour, I'd bet. Fairly muggy.
    Shop time today too.

For sure it has to be much different for you with all the sub-zero weather you get; especially like last winter. A tough one for you.

    I'll thank you.

Usually all that rain that falls in Wisconsin peters out before it gets to us. Not so yesterday afternoon. Some big storms in the area. But as usual, most of it missed us although we did get .6" of rain. We heard thunder but nothing real close to us. No wind with this either so that was good.
