    Closed several windows last night and will be doing the same thing tonight. Not quite as cool as Rope has but still nice. 78 for the high and 52 for the low predicted.

    Nice dry summer day here in Southern Connecticut. Low 80's. Got the fire going, grilled and ate out on the deck.

    There were people calling there wives at 3 AM so they could wake up the kids and show them what snow looks like. It is a very rare occurrence here.

    Beautiful day yesterday and expected for today and tomorrow. Low to mid 80's, sunny and no rain. I'll be taking black betty for a test drive later today to see if I finally have her going again before wood cutting season starts again.

    Well, fortunately we have not had but a few days of 90 this year. Lately we've had lots of high 70's or right around 80. This week has seen very low humidity which really makes it sweet.
