I was at a builders show yesterday and one of the booths asked to put their app on my phone.....

Huh? I answered? My phone is for calling and talking.

    They looked at me like.....

It's WAY easier to use a phone. It's just like the computer. Except when you choose where to find the pic it goes to your " gallery" on your phone. Cuts the step out of having to put it on your computer before an upload.

Yeah I have a few apps for very frequently used sites, like eBay and amazon. Also apps for like weather and keeping car data straight, notepad and stuff like that. I don't have piles of apps for every store I go to or every restaurant I have eaten at or ever website I go to.

I found some papers while cleaning up the garage. They were my statements from my college loan. ( That was 20 years ago:whistle:)

Yes, a lot on my plate, but selling the Audi, and getting my truck were big deals.

I won't even go into how stupid busy we are at work with the retirement of one of the two other buyers. They got my feet wet and had me buying for 1 division that has more pre planning. Now since that retirement, I'm buying for our advertising division which is all need it now, and no warning. You can't "save big money at _________!" without our company;) . You also can't get your milk, TP, and eggs without us. I like the powersports and automotive portions of our business much better. It's all essentially " printing money" though.

Do you have a non smart cell phone? If so, I would have handed them your phone and watched them try to install an app. Lol

I still have one or two in the garage in a box somewhere.
You changed "settings" with ones and zeroes. Lines of 13, iirc.

So, looks like we've hit our projected high of 36 already. Snow stopped about 9:30 (8:30, pre-DST ), and I'd guess we got about 2-3" since late last night. There may be some ice under the snow to boot.
68 IAT and the furnace is taking care of that until later. The fire I made last night was purposely wimpy.......I didn't feel like going back out to the shed.

    Snowed this morning, now rain.
Had no fire overnight, got a little colder than forecast. Snowed this morning, now light rain. Cold ashes out of stove and now we're on the second pine fire. Was 67ºF inside with the boiler running. Can't have that going on all day.
Still only 35ºF outside but supposed to get up to 46ºF so it remains to be seen how much wood stove we need today.
Might be an all pine day.

Ok, well, that's still a good (bad?) snow dump.
Glad I didn't see correctly.

Pine and/or Poplar would suit me fine in these temps until the night fire, but I only processed about 1/3 cord for this winter and I used it already last fall. Next winter, I'll have more.
