A mild day, up to 9 hours of daylight, today is another wash, rinse, repeat day- planning on getting a load of wood after work. Still trying to get my moneys worth out of my tools. Enjoy your day if you off n happy work day to the rest of us. 5E5EA3BF-8406-408B-82D1-43E9B337EF2A.png 51DECF36-BBD3-42B6-B879-933FD748B5C8.png

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg The heatwave continues in Sask. This would actually be considered "normal"cold side of normal for this time of year. Average temp should bounce between 0 and 20 f. Poplar in the reactor, I let the furnace stay sleeping.

Burning up shorts, uglies , and punks with coal for the long burn.
I know I was in a hurry to get wood in late last fall but man is there ever a lot of longs in the wood room. Glad I got an electric chainsaw for inside processing . My furnace will take 29.5" at the door straight in. 35" Katy corner and I'm still running into 2 or 3 a day. Set them aside and whack them on the weekend! Looking at a wood room refill in the next few days and the shed will be empty. First time it will be completely empty and will never get filled again ,, at least by me.

21F with a 14 degree windchill, wind from the East & snowing. 3" of new snow today from this system. Sick of these "backward" storms, they're damp & cold with the wind. Rather have 0 & dry. Oak in the boiler.

Weather guessers told a good forecast it was a nice warm day @9*. I cut 2 spruce down yesterday and had some work help. With 2 Skandic’s and 10 foot sleds were filled yesterday, today was the easy day of only haveingvto load the pickup. 6B423991-557A-4A0A-87C9-8B9D9D9B8A60.jpeg 18A55BC3-7A50-40D9-AE54-2700AD1F512F.jpeg 5B0DD106-C7E9-4C9F-8935-2E50ABAAA1C8.png

26° and snowing, but it won't amount to much- just nuisance snow. I'll take a needed rest today, do some grocery shopping and cooking.

We've been getting weather "backward" out of the east also.
I like it. Rarely get any snow. If it comes out of the W we get buried !
