Yes, all powder was nice. I drove home in the squalls, fortunately they thinned out going north. The roads were treated very well, too, and the plows were out. A big fat 0° here, and it's my excuse to stay inside today and work on tax stuff. And feed the stove with oak and black locust, with a little red maple thrown in.
Taxes yuck! But thanks for the reminder lol. Great thing to get out of the way on a day like this. TurboTax makes it pretty easy fortunately. Stay warm!
-32f burning oak slabs . Like burning slabs in a vacum .. high pressure also . It's very Krispy out there . Minnesota it's pretty hardcore .tip of the hat to alaskans and Canadians. Sent from my LGL84VL using Tapatalk
The Drolet Blackcomb was struggling last night. Must have been the wood. Woke up about 6:15 this morning, nice bed of coals, 21° outside then, 70° inside. But it's cranking now.
Local power company sent an alert last night at midnight. Please set heat to 65F to avoid outages. They lost a compressor. This is my answer, so glad I've got wood heat.
The next time you need a babysitter....call someone else! The weather behaved very poorly, wouldn't listen and challenged every boundary we set for her! I'm sad to say that I think this behavior pattern will continue with this one and recommend to not waste your money on counseling as it is plain to everyone involved that it won't help out a bit! Too bad you can't reverse the adoption!
