21 feels like 10 and 76 inside on last nights coals. Looks like another chilly stretch until the next slushy mess arrives on Friday. :headbang: This late in the season it’s nice to have a little insulating blanket of snow but I don’t see it in the near future. I’d be happy without anymore snow as long as it warms up a little but I’m not holding my breath.
    Have a great Sunday everyone!

I finally replaced my nonworking outdoor thermometer, 25 outside 75 in the family room. I reloaded the stove with all sugar. Heavy rain predicted for tomorrow and my porch wood rack is about empty so I'll be filling it up today.

Oh yeah, how could I forget the New Years Eve mess that’s coming. Another slushy event arriving just before midnight. We haven’t gone out in years but a lot of people do so be safe out there!

32 outside, 73 inside. Just loaded some cherry and ash. Going to stay in today, I have a cough going on and the wife had a minor surgery on Friday. Don't like the looks of tomorrow, heavy rain and 50's.

Rope I'll take some of that cold to freeze up the mud if you're willing to share. This is today's hourly and the upcoming week according to accuweather.

Low of 12.4 °F last night. Clear skies and the wind is calm, thankfully. Waiting for the rest of last evenings coals to burn out so I can empty the ash and reload.

We surely hope this is nothing serious. A terrible way to bring in the new year.

Chilly outside but not bad. Ground is snow covered but they say we may get above freezing this afternoon. I'm considering cutting a bit of wood this afternoon as it does not appear I can do that tomorrow. Then comes the Holiday. Then comes some packing. All sorts of excuses.

I would be happy to share, if I could make that happen, I would not need to work a job for the man. Well, happy to share as long as I can keep some.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg More of the same of what we've been stuck in, but apparently getting worse later. Brrr. Should be short lived though and a nice warm up after that. Gonna be wood stove and oil burner tag team for sure. Also a good time to reseason some cast iron pans.
