Nice day here....the sun almost came out and the rain slowed way way down for that while. You could tell by the bare and dry spots on the highway!

It only got to the high 30's this morning and 55 this afternoon. A bit damp now. Some thunder passed through but not much rain with it. Looks like more on the way.

I cut the grass for the last time in mid August before moose season started. Will be June before I have to mow again.

35 down to 27 over night here. They were calling for 50 today.. RIght.. Still got to spend some time outside with my micro-me after work while mom was fixing up some good hot supper - at 2yrs old, she doesn't care if it's cold and windy as long as she gets to help Daddy push the wheelbarrow around and gets a ride around in the little tikes push car. :) White pine still doing the deed in the IS. 70 inside when I got home, 75 or so after a little refueling.

This morning when I started the
    Kenworth. Around 10 am. 20181030_101951.jpg

Burning odds and ends currently. Just started burning some real firewood in the last week . I let the Toyo OM22 make most of the heat for the first few weeks or month in the fall. Have a small fire in the mornings and evenings. But for the past few days we've kinda kept the woodstove going .
Sure was a nice fall we had.

I have to mow my lawn once a week in the summer. It is currently under 3" of snow.

A perfect fall day here, sunny 37° but going to 50's they say. I'll be working on my pile of oak rounds. I'm going to ask my husband for help putting up the pop-up, next couple of days will hit 60° , but with rain.

Currently sitting at 1 C or 33 F, and kind of dreary. It's nice our weather took a short break from all the wonkiness before we get into the chill again. Looks like normal weather is showing up in 5-6 days in that -10 to -1 C or 16 to 32 F range. Got the wood put up in the shed, and almost have all next years wood split and stacked, and hoping to cover before we get the white stuff.

Good! Actually it's close to the same for us, but then, we don't have a lawn to mow! Just some weeds.
