For sure today is a great day with the weather. The cooler mornings especially are really nice. Such a relief from that hot sticky stuff.

Closed up most of the house the last couple nights. Even put an extra blanket on the bed during the night. Love these cool mornings.

Mid 60's down here in Ga. Felt pretty good this morning, with the humidity down in the 75% range.

Getting into the 50's at night here has been real nice for sleeping with the windows open. Gdaughter mentioned when she got up that she was cold. :picard:
I put on my FHC hoodie for a bit until after my first coffee.

57 here now, we were down to 52 Wed. night. I'm loving it. I have a bunch of logs to c/s/s and this kind of cool is getting me thinking about starting on it soon enough.

And here, I'm the one who is usually cold but for several days my wife was closing windows. I love the cool weather even if my feet and legs are cold. Shoot, I remember not too long ago someone was here visiting and the temperature was over 90....and my feet were cold. They could hardly believe it until I took my shoe off so they could touch that cold skin. They were amazed. I guess that is just one more benefit??? of having polio in your youth.

Last night was not so cool like it's been lately as we only got down to 63. But we had a thunder shower early this morning so it is still cool and damp.

Cooled off to 10 C or 48 ish F and dropped a few more last night...got the green light for a fire. Proceeded to melt our faces off with a small amount of wood. Will probably do the same thing again tonight with this damp weather. Must be a personal record for starting a fire early in the fall.
