We supposedly broke the old record(for this day was -7°F) at -9°F. It was the freekin wind chill that got us though. -20 something and it was a 2 3/4 bag fuel night(2 bags chow and 3/4 bag cubies). Most I have used in a 24 hour span! Prolly would have used less if I had cubies in the hopper from the get go. My bad!!

Latest storm coming this week. Shutting the stove down as we speak to give it a cleaning.

Here's the latest info video clip from the Weather Channel. http://bcove.me/6azntyyq

I've never heard the weather channels ever refer to snow amounts as "plowable snow" until this year and sort of like them naming all the storms now too...now if they could just they forecast right we'd be in good shape.... :D

5-8 inches Tuesday night into Wednesday. Closing in on a record snow season here. We're about 18 inches from the record, and still have all of February to go, not to mention March. Winter is back. Reports of it's demise were greatly exaggerated.

Well it is snowing away! Were expecting 8 inches today. Winter sure is not over by any stretch of the imagination. Wonder what the rest of February and March will be like?
