    I think someone posted this here before but here is my coal sifter. $5 from the local restaurant supply store for this used one, a new one was a whole $15. Put the whole thing right in the stove, load it up and shake, the dust goes right up the flue, dump the coals to one side and shovel out the ash.

    Why didn't you post this before, I just spent $250 on an ashpan for my stove. :mad:

    If I get an Ideal Steel I will definitely get the ash pan, it's just the ash pan in the nc30 is useless.

    Same here, I'd get the ash pan on the IS as an option too.
