Some beautiful stacking there. Well done!:salute:

That chore doesn't start for me until about the first of October. I bring about 2 cord to our covered porch. Then some time before the middle of December I repeat the process and that usually holds me for the rest of the season.

You need to enter "outdoors with the Morgan's" firewood stacks contest. Those are impressive.

We only burn about half the shed a year so I really don't need a second one. Besides there are some setback problems for another one. She really doesn't mind the outside stacks as long as they don't crowd into the parking or get any higher than the existing (five and a half feet). You are certainly right that, when the snow is high and the wolf is at the door, I never hear any comments about too much firewood!

With the crooked, twisty, small trees we have here, nice stack jobs are kinda tough.

Made some more headway. Not there yet but getting closer. Too many things to get done and not enough hours in the day. That’s dougfir on the left in the first picture with pinyon pine in the rear and sycamore on the right. Then started loading oak in the far left bay in the back in the second picture. (Hard to see but it’s there)

It too is coming...part of a much larger backyard project trying to complete before winter...or at least the walkway part.
