    Had a kick back like that, at first, I thought it broke my thumb :startled:, no but it was sore for awhile

    Yeah Im ok. Thank god. It could have been ugly. It's tough when working on a log load by yourself because you have to move the cut rounds out of the way so you can work and aren't tripping over them and also so you have an escape route if the logs shift and some come rolling toward you. The latter happens a few times on every load, it's inevitable. I was just moving a little to fast and not paying attention to the saw. Lesson learned for sure.

    Many years ago I cut my pants with my saw. I was wearing Carharts over my jeans and cut thru the bibs but my jeans were untouched. I have been more cautious since then.

    I got in a hurry once a few years back trying to get a load before dark.....forgot to put my chaps on and grazed my jeans....lesson learned. Glad you 2 are both fine.
