Our province is waiting for Washington, Oregon and California to enact their laws to keep DST all year round. As it needs Federal approval on both sides of the border, it will never get done. I would prefer Standard time all year round as it is lighter in the mornings in the winter time. Right now it is dark until after 8:00 AM. Makes it hard to get up and do something.

I had a VCR just vampiring electricity for to a good 5 years just because we liked the clock. Didn't even use the VCR. Then new tv time came and I used a wall mount, and got rid of the old tv stand. That's what made me unplug that VCR.
Now we have a lacrosse weather center that shows the time as well as all that other good stuff. I unplugged the DVD player a while back too. That thing gets plugged in when we want to watch the DVDs we have, that's it. Everything else is streamed.

WWW wrapped up a project on the porch yesterday around that time, bringing in the tools etc. He was right, sun went behind the mountain a few minutes later
