Cleaning up a deadfall in the drive...first real head scratcher

    That's a great idea. Why not wrap the tape all the way to the end? Or you could just hit it with the bench grinder and take the teeth out.

    Yep you could if you want too. I’ve got others like that. I usually take the teeth down on the wood style blades. This one was close at hand for the pic and that’s just the way it turned out. Customize it to your own preference for sure. What I like about them is there isn’t a nook or cranny on a bar I cannot clean with it and they’d just get tossed in the recycling/scrap bin otherwise.

    Yeah I had a lot of crap built up in my bar grooves. And the nose sprocket was jammed too, with chips of wood. Cleaned it all up and got a bar greaser.

    I'm pretty sure you can use your chainsaw file gauge, that comes with most new saws.
