Nice! People are more uptight around here. To get that locust a couple days ago, I had to parley with Eversource, the police, the ice cream stand manager, and the Parks and Rec boss. Phew!

I'm lucky they didn't need a public comment period from all the people eating ice cream!

I was just rolling them to the splitter with help. I couldn't get my arms around them, let alone pick them up.

Yep get those around here too. I especially like the pics of large trunks in the back yard with no saws and no driving on the lawns. Hercules helicopter anyone? Got a score for ya.

Same around here Midwinter with some of the ads. I've seen ads with a photo of what looks like a 4 foot diameter trunk, 3 feet long with the roots and dirt still attached. The post reads something like free wood, great for bon fires. No saws just come and get it. I'm like yeah no saws but can I bring my crane.

Ramps are where it's at for the bigguns. I've had rounds in the truck big enough to block most of the back window.. All about leverage and simple tools! If I can roll it, I can take it. If it's too lumpy to roll, the staircase method is pretty helpful, or split on site. Ramps are my best friends.
