I am have moved on to see if Betty is as enjoyable as her sister Alice. Betty definitely has a thick as syrup sweetness off the get go. damm near off putting
I can say that I am not a fan of Betty’s syrupy sweet flavor or her Fat Bottom. I had to touch her up once to get to this photo then a couple times after before I kicked her to the curb. I got that syrupy taste almost to the band & a few hints of chocolate from that point on down. I had to do some double puffs to keep it going at a few points through out the whole cigar.
Just finished a Monte white series. Little late night trouble call gave me some drive time. Wasn’t bad, but tunneled out right at the band. Pretty smooth and peppery.
Having one of these while prepping mowers & plotting out where to plant some trees. I will probably have a Mint in the afternoon.
Hints of chocolate & cherry, it really smells of chocolate cherry before lighting. I am not a big fan of the Wafes, I have a Robusto in the Mint & Red hopefully they are a more pronounced flavor.
The Mints & the Reds have a Rocky Patel logo on the wrapper. RP must of made these for DE or vice versa. I see that RP has a Java Latte. Java Latte - Rocky Patel Premium Cigars
The Kentucky fire cured had me second guessing it pre-light….. smells a bit like sour cow chit! What a surprise once lit though!! Nice and smooth good consistent flavor all the way to the end. Hint of fresh cut alfalfa and pecan wood smoke, earthy I’d say. Not much for wrapper flavor. After finishing I had sort of a salty bbq aftertaste. My only complaint is not getting a bigger one!! Definitely will get more!
Here is an ammo/ordinance box humidor on Craigslist. It looks pretty sweet. Ordnance Storage Crate | 49" x 14" x 12" | FREE SHIPPING** -...
Getting ready for the GTG…. Smoker Rack for the trailer… so I don’t have the headache of try to solidify with straps….
It’s a Diesel but what kind ? It’s a bit blurry. Hopefully you aren’t using diesel to smoke the meat at the GTG.
Never ventured into Michigan but logged a couple thousand miles in Indiana bouncing around in the rig. Illinois & Indiana roads were atrocious. Looks solid enough & safe travels. The Iowa GTG is going on now over at Chelsea, I have yet to make that one or any other.
