Waited until "she" was home to light one up. BIG MISTAKE! Fan doesn't work as well as anticipated. Now, I'll have to try closing off the basement return air for the furnace.

Doesn't matter much at this point since I'm enjoying them less and less now.

Cigars outdoors in the warmer weather, pipes inside when it's cold out. Pipe smoke is much easier to vent with a fan. Kitchen fan does the job.

Got some My Father's coming in tomorrow. damm, it's gonna be a long winter.

NE, she already suggested to try a pipe instead. Probably cave on that one. Never tried My Fathers, but I found Lane 1Q back in the 80's and it has been a favorite since. Trouble is, everything regarding the pipe is at the cottage.
I'd like to add that smoking isn't important to me at all, I guess its just nervous energy or something.

Dave, just so I don't confuse things, the My Father's are cigars. Lane 1Q is the most popular bulk aromatic in the country, I believe. Most women don't mind it. Some even enjoy it, I like English blends which can smell like something the dog left behind. They taste great, but the room note leaves a lot to be desired for many women.

I have seen the My Fathers cigars for sale from my supplier; I thought that maybe they also dabbled in pipe tobacco. Confusion cleared.

Maybe I'll look into one of those fancy schmancy room purifiers. Thanks!

I am a cigar guy as well as pipes. Will try to scrounge up some cigar pics.
Lemon scented candles help cut the smoke. Plus a good exhaust fan ( or an open fireplace) to remove the smell. image.jpg :sherlock::sherlock::sherlock::sherlock::sherlock:

Beautiful rack/cellar brother!! Any pipes for sale or trade?

For bad cigar breath I use altoids or other strong breath mints. My wife hates the smell but doesn't even notice if I use mints.

Tatuaje mostly but also Arturo Fuente, My Father, Pepin, Olivia's for nc cigars. CCs I smoke Partagas which are my favorite, monti's, romeos and punch. For pipe baccy my current favorite is orlik golden sliced. If you ever want to trade cigars or pipe tobacco let me know I'm well versed in trading being active on 3 cigar forums lol.

Interestning, never thought about trading cigars. I have a bunch of cigars & pipe tobacco that I have been aging, cellaring as some call it now.
Ditto on the Partagas, My Father, Olivia , Punch & Fuente. Plus La Gloria's, Excalibur & Ashton. So many new good & expensive cigars now.
Dunhill early morning is my regular pip tobacco. Pic shows a bunch of #5 bags of EMP. I am trying some G.L.Pease blends now. Rattrays & McClelland. Will have to try some Orlik again.
Best way to end a day of chopping wood is to sit in front of a fire & light up a bowl of tobacco!,:sherlock: image.jpg

Had to drive the truck to a tire shop this evening and decided to have a cigar along the way. It was an upman, I'm not sure which one since I left the ring label in the truck, but it was good!
