I ended up with CAO Brazilia, been buying those for the last year and a half, no problem with prices or availability, but as it says on the sites, if they have it you better buy it.

Had a 5 pak of 'em. Didn't like the first one I had, so I started handing them out. About a year and a half later, I had the last one..WOW! Made me wish I didn't give them away! :handshake:

Coolidor... haven't seen that since my JRcigar forum days. At one time I had 3 coolidors full of great smokes. Down to just one humidor now.. Go to cigar is Camacho corrojos and connecticut shade. Carillo Encore is the best cigar I've smoked recently

When the shipping/service turned to crap, I pretty much stopped ordering. It's been months since I've placed a bid on anything.

Anyway, I still have two full sized coolers full.

Took a drive on Mon and had a cigar along the way. The maduro churchill was good for about 2/3 and that was it.

Well, I finally broke down and started filling the humidor a couple of weeks ago. It was 60° out so I decided to do a test run. I missed having a good cigar and this one fit the Bill.

So I have cheap taste: backwoods are my goto. Some of the flavors are a little much....but I used to make and smoke my own pipes out of mountain laurel. They are hard to smoke hangin off the side of a railcar, or running a train (both hands needed), so the backwoods became my goto.
And the after smells were so mild, dear wife didnt object.
Most folks at werk recognize and.enjoy the smell of a backwoods...

Did the Thompson quarterly sampler. Fun but stinky.

As a fun aside, my brother and I got into smoking when our local gas station sold benson & hedges 100's outta a vending machine for $2.50 a soft pack. We were bad-apple for sure.

But where we really started, was camping. Sitting by the fire, we rolled hay into 2 squares of toilet paper, cut the ends, and lit them with a coal from the fire. Had to be early teenagers....man we thought we were tough spuds!

30 years later (ugh) and its backwoods and good.cuppa coffee.

Course, we're so broke right now, those pooperpaper cigars are gonna be coming back in vogue real quick!!
    (Not THAT desperate really)

Nothing wrong with a Backwoods. I used to smoke them myself. Normally I smoke my pipe now and it is a lot cheaper, but I hadn’t had a cigar in about a year so. Just buying off Cigar Bid to refill the humi so it hasn’t cost too much...so far.

In NY they’re $12.50 a pack. In NYC I think they are over $15. Insane!

Never go into cigarettes...tobacco or hay. I suppose all of it is a bad habit, and probably money not wisely spent. There people around here not having enough to get by, and here I am busting $7-10 on something that isnt good for me, but satisfies my 'flesh'.

I have reasoned that I dont have any other habits that cost money with zero return, and so the smoking continues.

Except food. Thats a vice though, not a habit.

It had been 2 weeks since my last cigar. Unfortunately, I chose this graycliff maduro. It was the last one of a five-pak I got a few years back.

Started out OK, but then took a nose dive at the half-way mark.

1st cigar in over 5 weeks. It was good until the nicotine kicked in. :picard: I don't remember them being like that!
