These are in my top 5 favorites at the moment. Such a good smoke! We finally started getting cooler weather a week ago, so that helps things a bit.

Took advantage of the cooler weather and rain today to break in a new pipe and some small batch Sun Bear Black locust tobacco. Really nice balanced blend. I can taste the honey and the vintage oriental and izmer tobaccos blend well with the bright and red Virginia. I’m glad I snagged 2 tins because it’s out of stock most places now…

Trying this one out tonight, not too bad.
Thinking maybe a bit more rest will improve it.

About 3 weeks, Jake over on OPE recommended them.

They say these have some Cuban tobaccy in them.

Maybe a different supper choice would make difference as well.

If any of you gents want to try them out let me know, I can put a couple in the mail.

Too hot for a cigar and the IMG_2273.jpeg fire didn’t help, trying to get thru a Serie V.

Pretty darn hot & steamy today, tomorrow is supposed to be worse yet.

I pondered a fire but decided against it.

Wasn’t any wind so I figured I’d better burn some brush and scraps.

Ha! Just plain old water was the beverage of choice. Followed by a honey crisp apple.
