I had a black swan from oliva yesterday and did not find anything special about it......at all. It was in a sampler I picked up intentionally for trying the black swan.

    Oh well

Had a oliva series v melanio today while washing a vehicle. It was not a maduro and I did not care for it. Made it halfway.

The free will from oliva I had knocked my socks off! It was great.

Everything about the cigar was fine. It was just a bit to strong for me and I did not like the taste.

I did run into some oliva's with blockage issues but that was also years ago.

I’ll get a picture. I didn’t recognize but it was like $8 bucks for a store cigar on a 6x60…. Not too bad… but so far so good… decent flavor…
That’s good to know… I just hate having to work at it…. It kinda of turned me off on them… when there’s so many other quality cigars out there…

I enjoyed mine. Ash hold out was strong… nice mild flavor… for a brand I hadn’t experienced or heard much about.

Had me a Nicaraguan Cream today. Nice and light cigar, good flavor, burned good and probably one of the best draws I've ever had with a cigar.

Got some southern draw maduro 300 hands and true to form, I'll have one within days of getting them. When I punched the head, the danged cigar cracked down the side about 1/2" or so. I am considering returning the rest of them for that reason. Funny thing is it was shipped with a boveda packet. As far as the cigar goes, it wasn't too bad. I would place it above mediocre for me.

I realize that sometimes cigars will dry out in shipping but these were way past just being left out of a humidor for a few days.

In all the years of receiving orders from different vendors, there was only one other time that I returned an order. That was a mazo of nicaraguan cream (sorry KSPlainsman ) that were also too dry.

That's a bummer, Yoop. Did these and the Nic Creams happen to come from the same place?

No. The nic cream was probably a decade ago from another supplier.

Well, I haven't got a shelf made yet. Still thinking about how I want to do it exactly, but I decided to get everything moved over to my coolidor regardless. Every bag is a different brand, or at least a different maker, if it was a sampler, or 5 packs, or what not. This is going to be much better.

Enjoyed a master blends 3 yesterday evening. Pressed robusto and if Chvymn99 hadn't mentioned about oliva's having a draw problem, I wouldn't have noticed it since it was slight but still present! :handshake:
