I had these two today. I had this one tonight while watching the light show. The wife’s camera pulled out the purple, I couldn’t see that with my eyes but still a great show.
Having a bowl of Rivendell from the country squire after work today. Which is an aromatic blend featuring black cavendish, Virginia, and burley. It’s earthy and nutty with hints of coco and a little twang from the Virginia.
Having this one courtesy of Jake from the OPE Forum. It definitely has a different flavor on the wrapper just from a the few cold draws I have taken.
I saw this lastnight... but was too tired to look up and respond.. If I remember the flavor profile was upfront, and the one that I had at the GTG was had the sharpness rub off a bit... I expect that will be even more prevalent next year... As I've seen with cigars the sharpness tend to blend and smooth out over time... I think it did become a better cigar over time... Burn was still very consistent, just the ash was measured as I wasn't able to sit down too see.
I am taking advantage of the reprieve from hurricane force winds ( an exaggeration but not much of one ) to burn down the brush pile & have a stogie. I was hoping for a smoking rabbit to come bolting out for some excitement for the dogs but no such luck.
Had two yesterday. One early before the sun came up-it was a freebie from CP, thanks monkey! And after appointment on the drive home, I had this one in a maduro of course. Enjoyed them both. Good burns and the maduro had high smoke output. I thought the truck would smell like an ash tray after that one but checked it today and no problem at all.
The pit is still doing well, the frogs are making all kinds of noise, the breeze has died off, the ballgame is on in the background & I am having this one to finish off a peaceful day/night.
Fired this one up yesterday afternoon. Nicaraguan Overruns Maduro bundle from the page. I hope it improves with some rest time.
I had a Cohiba Black this morning & this Oliva 2nd Churchill tonight while the dogs had some ice cream. The Oliva was pretty good , I am thinking the dogs enjoyed their ice cream as well.
Took advantage of a break in the rain and decided to do some grilling. Also enjoying a bowl of Hunting Creek in one of my Missouri Meerschaum cobs. It’s an English Aero crossover that tastes woody, smokey, earthy and slightly peppery with just the right amount of fresh baked sweetness.
I had these two today while planting. I didn’t get to the Diesel or LFD today but will most likely get to them tomorrow along with these 2 added to the go box.
